Japan has long been famous for many aspects. From science, art, culture,… and also many beautiful destinations for tourists. We have seen many forests, temples, castles,… Today, we are going to introduce to you the famous Tove Jansson Akebono children’s Forest Park.
A great destination for families
Tove Jansson Akebono Children’s Forest Park is located in Saitama Prefecture, 40 km away from Tokyo. Buildings in the park follow the architecture style in Northern Europe fairy tales. Lying in the middle of the red leaf forest, the romantic scene of the forest in Autumn is perfect for couples or families to have some quality time together. Moreover, the sights are great for taking the best selfies in the Autumn weather.
The park’s area is not big. It contains 4 main buildings surrounded by tree lines and small canals. The park is named after the one who brought up the idea of it – Tove Jansson. Since it only takes 15 – 20 minutes to walk from Motokaji station to the park, coming here by train from Tokyo is an ideal way.
